Our Director is a member of The College Of Optometrists, which is the professional scientific & examining body for optometry in the UK, working for the public benefit.

Our teams are trained to ensure that you receive the highest standard of eyecare. We have qualified Optometrists on hand in all of our practices so that you can benefit from their many years of experience.

Your test will be individually tailored for you and we will answer all of your questions with a human touch. Whatever your age and however fine your eyes feel, we recommend that you have your vision checked at least once every two years, unless our Optometrist recommends more frequent visits.

It is recommended that all children and people aged over 70 have an eye test every year - or more often if recommend by their Optometrist. A regular eye test does a lot more than check whether your eyesight needs correcting. It’s also a vital health check that can pick up early signs of eye conditions such as Glaucoma, as well as detecting underlying general health problems, including Diabetes and High blood pressure.

The TONI&GUY eye test is as thorough a test as you’d receive anywhere in the world. Yet it only takes around 25 minutes and is totally painless. Our Manchester practice also has state-of-the-art digital retinal cameras that take photographs of the back of your eye. This enables us to carry out a far more detailed examination than was previously possible.
